Description
"Madagascar - Une lecon de broderie sur filet." ("A lesson of embroidery on a thread of linen.") A missionary sister stands with seven adolescent Madagascan girls, instructing them how to embroider on a long piece of fabric stretched on a frame. Postcard issued by the "Mission des Soeurs de la Providence de Corenc (Isere)."
The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and contains a printed note: "Au profit des Orphelinats de la Mission." ("To the profit of the orphanages of the mission.")
