In 1965, the church was moved from its original location at 10051 Topanga Canyon Boulevard to its present site on the grounds of Oakwood Memorial Park. Photograph caption dated May 25, 1956 reads, "Chatsworth Community Methodist Church was built in 1903 and is second oldest in Valley.
