Photograph of an an old Mexican cannon from the Mexican War at the Los Angeles Courthouse, 1845. The cannon sits on small blocks of wood. Five ridges can be seen along the rough shaft of the cannon. At the front of the cannon, a small hole can be seen on the widened head. In the background, only the tiled ground and two ranks of stones in the wall of the courthouse are visible.
