Pictured is North Hollywood High's outstanding rope climber, Steve McLean, scooting up a 20-foot hemp in 3.9s for the best time in the Valley League. McLean is preparing for a dual meet against Canoga Park High School that's for the league championship. Photograph dated April 3, 1956.
