Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on January 27, 1972 states: "Workmen were busy for about two hours this morning near La Riviera Drive and Folsom Boulevard after the wind blew down scaffolding for segments of the Mayhew Road overpass for the new US 50 freeway. No damage to the portable scaffolding or other equipment was reported and there was no delay on the job. One car was reported to have been damaged slightly by hitting some of the scaffolding that fell on Folsom Boulevard before the crew arrived to clean up the mess."
