Description
This circa 1970 photo of the Pony Express Statue taken by and distributed by Fritz Vibe of Fritz Vibe Enterprises. The statue is located in Old Sacramento State Historical Park at Second and K streets. The Statue commemorates Sam Hamilton, the first rider to embark from the Hastings Building as part of the Pony Express in 1860.
