Charles H. Cobb was born in 1869 in Fresno County. Moved to Fresno in 1900 where joined brother in Armory Livery & Hack Company. Family businesses expanded over time. In 1913, Charles commissioned the house on North Fulton Street. House embodies characteristics of Colonial Revival style. Architect is unknown, but structure is similar to buildings designed by Alexander C. Swartz and W.F. Bowen in the same area.
