Description
Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing ruins of the observatory in Golden Gate Park, 1906. An arched doorway can still be seen on the far left. The rest of the building at center has crumbled into large slabs of stone. A back wall with hundreds of arched windows is still in tact and leans towards the background, detached from the rest of the building.
