Description
Photograph caption dated September 20, 1985 reads, "Captain and crew of the 42-foot fishing vessel 'Diamond Jim' brought up in their drip gill net this 4,200-lb., 18-foot great white female shark. The large fish was captured near the west end of Catalina Island, 15 miles south-west of Point Vicente." Photograph taken at Los Angeles Fish & Oyster Co., located at 2212 Signal Place in San Pedro.
