Description
Watercolor painting of a woman. The woman wears multi-ethnic clothing, including a headdress that is reminiscent of HMong style clothing. The work is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Typed label affixed to the mat board reads, 'Water color painting by Tran Dac.' Original title preserved to reflect the intent of the artist, even though this is not explicitly a HMong woman. The work has been identified by the Southeast Asia Community Resource Center as having been created by the artist in Rancho Cordova, California, towards the end of the artist's life. Original title from SEACRC: HMong woman (water color on paper, done in Rancho Cordova, near the end of his life) (Tran Dac)
