Description: Five hours after the strike began, more than 12,000 UAW union members packed Culver City Stadium to vote on North American Aviation Co.'s "final offer" of a pay raise. They rejected the offer and reaffirmed a previous strike vote. Tonight, Fresno workers will strike, too. Photo dated: October 23, 1953.
