Photograph caption dated April 30, 1964 reads, "Every birthday party must have a cake, and Catalina's Fiesta de Oro is no exception. Here a group of town's people getting in some early licks in preparation for the grand fiesta. All fiesteros from the mainland are asked to come in costumes."
