Photograph caption dated March 3, 1961 reads "As the nationwide American Red Cross fund raising campaign gets under way, Vic Marrone, right front, presents the first check in the Valley to Mrs. Harry Raby, division chairman, at Van Nuys Red Cross headquarters, 13675 Van Nuys Blvd. Marrone, a write-in candidate for the office of mayor of Los Angeles, makes the presentation as Co-city Chairmen Mrs. Charles K. Frazer, left rear, and Mrs. Pauline Jenkins look on."
