Description
Image of a broadside listing information about lottery prizes for a drawing taking place on Tuesday, August 28th, 1860 in Wilmington, Delaware. The scheme on the print lists totals of "32.396 prizes, ... amounting to $281.860." The rewards and pricing information are printed in bold. Towards the bottom of the print is an image of two hands shown pointing at text listing the rules of the lottery.
“France, Broadbrent & Co.’s Delaware lotteries. $24,000! Consolidated Lottery of Delaware, Authorized by “An Act for the Encouragement of Internal Improvements in the State of Delaware.” Chapter DVII. –Passed at Dover, January 26, 1859.” --text, top of print.
