Photograph caption dated July 8, 1957 reads, "Captain Joe Kristof of Chicago's nationally known Pabst Blue Ribbon team will be one of many stars seen in action tomorrow night to start a three-day bowling festival at Victory Bowling Center in Van Nuys. The final night Thursday he will participate in the City of Hope 'Bowl for Lives' benefit for the free non-sectarian hospital."
