The top of the house of Willis Masters and his family in Pasadena, California, is visible over thick foliage, trees, and landscaping. Title transcribed from back of photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger. Photographer's imprint printed on the back of photo-mount. Also written on back: "I don't understand these two photographs of Masters' house -- The earlier shows a second story -- I remember none. The writing is Dr. Channings -- KSC." This is possibly Katharine Beecher Stetson, daughter of Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and who married Frank Tolles Chamberlin.
