Description
.In this 1937 image, the Adamson House--the beach house for the Rindge-Adamson family--protrudes among the trees next to the last remaining strip of the original Roosevelt Highway; the newer Highway 101 (now Pacific Coast Highway) runs alongside it in the foreground. The barge visible in the upper right is the Minnie Caine [source of description: "Malibu Rails and Roads" (Doyle and Rindge)].
