Photograph caption dated November 7, 1963 reads, "Ron Hornaday of San Fernando, 1963 West Coast NASCAR driving champion, chats with his chief mechanic, Parker Nalls, left. Hornaday is service manager of Galpin Ford in San Fernando, while Nalls is a tune-up specialist. Galpin Ford's other sponsored driver, Jim Noel, placed fourth in NASCAR standings."
