Description
Photograph of an unknown school, showing children making model yachts, [s.d.]. Four children stand behind three tables at the front of a classroom. About twenty model yachts sit on wooden pedestals along the tables. Two detailed drawings of yachts can be seen on the chalkboard behind the children while a row of photographs depicting yachts hang from the wall above. "Making model yachts furnishes 'busy work' for these young pupils in a Los Angeles School. There they receive practical instruction and are enabled to give play to their skill with tools". -- unknown author
