Elizabeth Short's murder is refered to as the "Black Dahlia" case. After the murder the police & newspaper received various letters and notes purporting to give information to help solve the case. Shown here is a note pasted together saying "Dahlia's killer cracking! Wants terms". Here it is displayed with a background piece of paper with the heading of Express Herald. This is the same note as seen in picture 00010450.
