Photograph caption dated April 24, 1948 reads, "An this was the foamite-spattered skeleton remaining several hours later. Gaunt oil stacks and heat-contorted piplines [sic] are all that's left of this section of plant razed by six hour fire; white coating is foamite used for extinguishing holocaust."
