Description
View 1: Peggy Hamilton, the official "hostess" of L.A., stands at the base of a large statue with both arms flung outwards. The pudgy gentleman on the left appears to be Mayor Frank Shaw. Also included are a group of women, perhaps the Women's Auxiliary of the L.A. Chamber of Commerce, with their hands stretched towards Miss Hamilton. The women are fashionably attired and their hats in particular are noteworthy. The L.A. County Courthouse is in the background.
