Photograph caption dated April 27, 1963 reads, "Mud and water from recent rainstorms hold tightly on to road grader being used by construction company in the widening of Woodman Ave. near Kittridge St. in Van Nuys. The unidentified girl on the right has a pained look, but she isn't the driver of the machine. While he went off for help Friday, she explained the grader's plight to another passer-by."
