Original photograph has several light colored stains. Photograph caption dated June 26, 1962 reads "Mrs. Winifred McArthur greets Daniel Bailly, Mary Ann Silleman, Don Bailly, Sandra Lee, from left." The article partially reads "In order to join Dr. Doolittle on his safari, one must report to the acting head librarian and children's librarian, Winifred McArthur, at San Fernando branch of the Los Angeles County Public Library, 102 MacNeil St., and sign for membership in the reading club."
