This is a vintage print signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. A bus travels outside of the Century Plaza Hotel, located at 2025 Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Designed by Minoru Yamasaki, the hotel opened in 1966. Photograph dated September 1980.
