Description
After the conclusion of the 1965-1970 Delano Grape Strike, the UFW set out to assist the original Filipino strikers. Volunteers from across the state converged to the Forty Acres, to help build the retirement home. This photograph depicts volunteers placing mission-style tiles on the facility's roof.
