At more than 340 acres, Central is the largest city park in Orange County. Designed by the internationally renowned iconic firm of Eckbo, Dean, Austin and Williams, the park's existence was the result of a grass roots movement called "Parks for People", reflecting the interest in the natural world then sweeping California.
