Description
As director of the John Tracy Clinic's Northridge Branch, 18530 Parthenia St., Edith McIntire collaborated with Dr. Edgar L. Lowell to research and develop "Play it By Ear," a publication designed to teach deaf children to communicate with hearing persons. Photograph caption dated October 28, 1961 reads, "Hand of a teacher helps Brandon learn. He feels himself imitate vocal vibrations."; See image #00125781 for all photos in series.
