Students attempt to transfer to all-white Huntington Park school, out of their home district, in an effort to put pressure on the Los Angeles Board of Education. Seen are Beverly Burnett and Olivia Gill, with Rev. C. W. Arnold. Photograph caption dated September 14, 1962 reads, "Negroes attempt to transfer to Huntington Park School."
