Description
The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. Kenneth Mack was born in the backlands of Montana, but his family eventually made its way to Sacramento where Mack attended El Camino High School. After graduation in 1964, Mack chose the U.S. Army, the Airborne and the 173rd Light Infantry Brigade. From Ft. Benning to Vietnam's Central Highlands to a civilian life with the State of California and search and rescue Mack's story and story-telling is sure to fascinate.
