Image .26: Alyssa Allen, Shashi Bhasin, and Joel Rohrbough pause for a photo while decorating the Caryatids on Pepperdine's Rose Parade float. At more than 17 feet high, the float required scaffolding for decorating the upper reaches. All flower decorating had to occur during a brief period of frenzied activity called Decorating Week (December 28 - 31) so that the petals maintained their vibrancy for the parade.
