Photograph caption dated August 17, 1956 reads, "Sgt., Rex Servoss, of highway patrol, examines pieces of shrapnel from rocket that landed in middle of Highway 6 near Placerita Canyon junction, touching off brush fire in Newhall refinery area. Shrapnel also peppered truck driven by Rex Wimberly of Santa Paula. Rocket was one of approximately 200 fired by jet interceptors which apparently shot down drone plane in Antelope Valley north of Little Rock."; See images #00114906 through #00114908 for all photos in this series.
