Valley Times TODAY article dated June 4, 1962 partially reads, "Kiwanis youth activities will benefit from the proceeds of the Granada Hills Kiwanis Club's annual "Chuck Wagon Lunch" Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Ralphs Market parking lot, Chatsworth St. and Balboa Blvd., Granada Hills. Price for the lunch is 25 cents, and the menu includes cold cuts, salad, beans, bread and coffee, according to George Vasilieff, chairman."
