Description
First photograph caption dated April 4, 1964 reads "Bill Berridge (left) of Pierce barely edged teammate Dan Figueroa with a 1:55.3 clocking in the 880 Friday night to set a new meet record in Friday's 90-46 dual meet victory over Glendale College." Second photograph caption dated May 15, 1964 reads "Pierce leader. Bill Berridge is expected to lead Pierce College's distance men Saturday in the State junior college meet at Bakersfield. Berridge placed second in his 880 heat in the So-Cal championships behind Bill Murray of Valley College Wednesday. Pierce led all qualifiers with 11 men and Valley placed 5."
