This is an interview with local artist Gwen Snyder done for the Lesbian History Project. The bulk of the Lesbian History Project was compiled at University of Southern California by Yolanda Retter, a web-based archive aimed to raise visibility for lesbians in a largely-male-dominated LGBT movement, especially lesbians of color. Diane Germain conducted a series of interviews in San Diego with local lesbians from various walks of life.
