[User contributed description]Ventura Airpark - We lived at 2457 Pierpont Blvd in 1958. Over the fence behind our rental was the Airpark Heliport. This is where the oil derrick workers got ferried in and out to sea. Obviously I loved playing out by the "Whirlybirds." No one ever seemed to mind.
