Accompanying news article from The News (Hemet, California) with caption: Mrs. Lee DeForest discusses Hemet-San Jacinto Cable Television System with officials. Widow of world famous "Father of Radio," Lee DeForest, she was greatly interested in the more technical aspects of Riverside Cable Company's cable TV system at the "headend." DeForest patented some 300 various types of inventions in the field of radio, wireless telegraphy and television.
