Description
Red Rock Canyon State Park, created in 1968, is located near Cantil (California), about 25 miles northeast of Mojave.
Photograph caption dated December 16, 1962 reads, "Motorlogue's Dodge Roll-A-Long. In the background, Red Rock Canyon." The Roll-A-Long Camper is on a Dodge 200 Power wagon 3/4-ton truck chassis with a four-door cab to seat six. It includes a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, hot and cold water, gas and electric lighting, toilet, and a shower. It is assumed that it is the article writer, Charles Schneeman, who is present in the camper doorway (lower center).
