Description
"Das erste Wohnhaus (Fachwerk) in Rutenganyo." ("First residential building (half-timbered) in Rutenganio."). An elevated, thatched, two-storied house with stairs leading up to a porch. House is surrounded by trees and herbaceous plants. A white lady is sitting on a chair up on the porch. An African girl, carrying a vessel on her head, stands in front of the house. Imprinted on the image: "1629.".
The imprinted numbers are covered with black ink.
