Photograph caption dated November 15, 1947 reads, "Laden with topcoats and luggage, three "refugees" from the Los Angels Police Department get out of town. They are: Sam Bontempo, Nick Satullo and Sidney Dine, reading up from bottom. A detective, in rear, without hat, escorted them to county line and turned them over to Riverside County escort who was to take them to next county line."
