Description
Lloyd de Llamas is a seventh generation Californian and was the city manager of Monterey Park from I976 to 1987. The 1980s was a time of tremendous changes in the community, and de Llamas was witness to it all. In these interviews de Llamas talks about his personal history and work in Monterey Park, the building of the Monterey Park Civic Center, and City Government and Politics in the 1980's.
