Description
General view of the Red probe. The sessions are being telecast daily by KECA-TV (Channel 7) in cooperation with the Herald-Express, except when witnesses demand that the cameras be turned off. For five days a parade of witnesses had appeared before the committee to tell what they know about Communist activities here. Some were co-operative; others defiantly refused to anwer questions. Behind the excitement and drama of the probe, there is the vital panorama of democracy in action. Photo dated: March 28, 1953.
