Image of an advertisement for Century magazine August 1900 issue; three-quarter-length portraits of a man and a woman in period clothing hand on a wallpapered wall with a sword, knife, and gun between them; helmet floating amidst clouds and lightning in a storm at bottom center.
Date supplied by cataloger based on issue contents; "The Helmet of Navarre" began as a serial in Century in 1900. "Clyde O. DeLand, artist."--text, handwritten in ink, bottom center margin. "Beginning a Novel of Adventure By a New Writer: 'The Helmet of Navarre.'"--text, bottom center of image.
