Photograph of Small apartment house or hotel, Newport Beach, ca.1900. In the foreground at left, a small residence road consisting mostly of dirt and sand can be seen. At right, a walkway can be seen extending into the extreme background. Along the walkway, several large buildings are visible. At center, a two-story wooden structure can be seen. Covered walkways surround both levels of the house. Small rectangular windows line the side of the building. At the top of the roof, a large pole can be seen. The structure appears to be either an apartment building, or a small hotel.
