Photograph caption dated July 1, 1964 reads, "Russell Jeka of Sylmar proudly displays the first ocean-going fish he has ever caught. The 10-year-old student at El Dorado School caught the bonito while fishing recently with his father, Ralph, aboard the American out of Pierpoint Landing." Pierpoint Landing is located in Long Beach, CA.
