Used in the Exhibit: Play by Play - A Century of L.A. Sports Photography, 1889-1989 Cheryl Miller, as a senior at Riverside Poly High School, where she once scored 105 points in a game. Credited with popularizing and elevating women's basketball, the 6-foot-2 Miller was a four-time All American in high school and college. At USC, she led the Trojans to two NCAA titles, then helped the U.S. to a gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Photo dated: February 9, 1981.
