Description: "This is the discount department store opened in the south area last week by White Front Stores, a division of Interstate Departments Stores, Inc. The store, representing a $2.5 million investment in land and buildings, covers 142,000 square feet of floor space at Floring Road and Stockton Boulevard. It was built by the Erickson Construction Co. and designed by architect Samuel E. Hart"
