Description
Photograph of olive trees near the chapel at the Guajome Ranch in San Diego, 1870-1880. The ranch house is at left and is a long, low adobe structure whose walls are covered with wooden boards. A line of rectangular windows runs down the long side of the building. The roof is made of terracotta tiles, and a covered porch is visible in the foreground at left. A line of olive trees runs parallel to the house at right and intersects a low picket fence in the distance. The chapel is just to the right of the trees near the fence.
