The article partially reads, "Alleged death of a German shepherd dog held the spotlight in Valley Municipal Court late today as two Van Nuys men stood trial on charges of trapping and beating the pet. L. V. Tunnel of 16409 Vanowen St., and R. A. Hill of 6829 Odessa Ave., are charged with one count each of cruelty to animals and one count of illegally possessing a trap without a permit from the animal Regulation Department."
