Description
Series of 18 photographs of the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix road race, likely the late 1970s/early 1980s, including peleton at start of race under a "South Bay Wheelmen" banner. This annual local race started in 1962, and was originally sponsored by the South Bay Wheelmen. Later, Chevron USA came on board as the principal sponsor.
